Why should you trust what HOCl Hub says?
That's the question this page answers.
HOCl Hub is not a manufacturer. We don't make the products. We don't own the labs. What we do is something harder to fake: we maintain consistent, documented standards for everything we publish, every product we list, and every partner we work with.
Every piece of content on HOCl Hub — every article, product page, guide, and claim goes through a defined editorial process before it's published.
Samir Alam, our Chemical Engineer, reviews any content that makes a scientific or efficacy claim. Sultan Alam Khan, our Editor in Chief, has final sign-off on everything that goes live. No content is published without both checks passing.
HOCl is a compound with a specific chemistry. Get the ppm wrong and it doesn't work. Get the pH wrong and it degrades. Get the shelf life wrong and you're using water.
We take the science seriously because the science is what makes HOCl worth talking about at all.
What we verify for every product:
Who does the science review
Samir holds a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
He spent time at Tronox Inc. in quality control and process optimisation, and developed his specific HOCl expertise through direct work with Aqua Protego, one of the UAE's leading HOCl manufacturers.
He reviews formulation data, COAs, and scientific claims for every product listed on the platform.
Lab certifications tell you what a product should do. Our testing tells you what it actually does.
Before any HOCl product is listed on HOCl Hub, we test it in practical conditions using the same surfaces, scenarios, and cleaning tools a real user would encounter.
The ATP Testing Process:
HOCl Hub is not a manufacturer. The quality of every product on this platform depends entirely on the manufacturers we partner with — and how rigorously we assess them before they get listed.
A manufacturer does not appear on HOCl Hub because they approached us. They appear because they passed our vetting process.
Three requirements. No exceptions.
The vetting process — step by step:
We assess the manufacturer's product range, certifications, and regional compliance credentials. Incomplete applications are returned, not processed.
COAs, safety data sheets, and regulatory authorisations are reviewed by Samir Alam. Any gap in documentation pauses the process until resolved.
Samples are tested using our standard ATP protocol and cross-checked against stated ppm and pH specifications.
Partnership tier, exclusivity conditions, and compliance responsibilities are documented in writing before any product is listed.
The manufacturer's certifications, compliance framework, and product documentation are published on their partner profile page. Fully transparent. Publicly accessible.
Clarity about what we won't do is as important as anything else on this page. These are not aspirations. They are the operating rules HOCl Hub is built on.
No brand can pay to appear in HOCl Hub's editorial content, product listings, or recommendations. Position is earned through the vetting process not purchased.
A product without compliance documentation, a COA, or verified ppm and pH data does not appear on HOCl Hub. No exceptions.
Every efficacy claim on HOCl Hub is traced to a published study, a regulatory document, or a certified test result. If we can't source it, it doesn't go up.
Every manufacturer we work with is publicly listed on our partners page, with full credentials visible. You always know where the product came from.
HOCl is a remarkable compound. It doesn't need exaggeration. We state what the evidence supports and stop there. One overclaimed statement damages everything else we've built.
Regulations change. Science moves forward. New research emerges. HOCl Hub reviews and updates its content and partner listings as the landscape evolves not just when it's convenient.
Each standard on this page has a named person responsible for it. Not a process document. A person.
BSc Management Information Systems, Oklahoma State University
Role in our standards
Established the platform's founding principle: education before commerce, trust before speed. Responsible for the overall integrity of HOCl Hub's editorial and commercial standards.
MBA, University of Lahore
Role in our standards
Oversees the operational framework behind the standards process — ensuring testing schedules, partner reviews, and content updates run on time and to spec.
MSc Chemical Engineering, Oklahoma State University
Role in our standards
Reviews all scientific claims, product formulations, COAs, and partner documentation. If a ppm figure or efficacy claim appears on HOCl Hub, Samir has verified it.
Editor in Chief, HOCl Hub
Role in our standards
Final sign-off on all published content. Sets and enforces the editorial standard: accurate, unbiased, and science-backed — or it doesn't go out.
